FLAFCC is committed to improving processes for resolving family disputes through development and utilization of a wide variety of dispute resolution methods, educational resources, and appropriate affordable services. FLAFCC provides leadership and an interdisciplinary forum for communication, collaboration, education, and innovation among professionals and other interested persons who are concerned with the legal process, the unique interests of children, family dynamics and the safety of adults and children.

The Florida Chapter of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts is dedicated to the following purposes:

  • To provide an interdisciplinary forum for the exchange of ideas to address issues of parents and children arising from family relationships;
  • To encourage the development of court procedures to emphasize effective methods of resolution of family disputes;
  • To develop and improve the provision of services to aid in the resolution of family disputes;
  • To provide for and protect the interests of children in all legal proceedings.
