The Minnesota Chapter formed in 2008 and is a vibrant organization that continues to grow.  Members include judges, mediators, social workers, psychologists, guardians ad litem, attorneys, and court services professionals from across the state interested and involved in all aspects of family and juvenile court.  The chapter’s board of directors meets on a quarterly basis and the entire chapter participates in an annual meeting and all-day educational event in late April each year.  Much of the work of the Minnesota Chapter occurs in its various committees: the Education and Events Committee, the Membership Committee, the Communications Committee, and the Juvenile Court Mediation Committee, which is currently working with the largest county in the state on a widely acclaimed juvenile court mediation project.  The chapter also organizes “lunch and learns” on topics of interest to the members and offers several social events during the year allowing  members to spend time with each other in a relaxed setting.  The chapter has something for everyone in this vital and diverse organization.
