NJ-AFCC has been approved by the AFCC Executive Committee as a State Chapter of AFCC, and received its charter as a State Chapter on March 18, 2002. The Association of Family and Conciliation Courts is interdisciplinary and international professional association dedicated to the resolution of family disputes. AFCC membership is open to all professionals who work with families in conflict. This includes judges, lawyers, mediators, psychologists, social workers, other mental health professionals, child custody evaluators, parent educators, court administrators, researchers, and academics.
