The NC Chapter of AFCC is an inclusive organization in which judges, attorneys, mental health professionals, mediators, evaluators, educators, court administrators, and other professionals are dedicated to providing an interdisciplinary forum for the exchange of ideas and the development of procedures to assist families in transition. Together, we work to develop and improve the provision of services and strategies to aid in the resolution of family disputes and to improve the court and ancillary systems for the benefit of families in conflict. We are dedicated to protecting the interests of children in relation to all aspects of family law, including, but not limited to, child protection proceedings, child custody matters, guardianships and other legal proceedings affecting children; and to conducting cutting edge educational programs in furtherance of the foregoing purposes.
